I am an independently licensed social worker with my supervisory designation (LISW-S) in the state of Ohio. I attended The Ohio State University for Psychology in my undergraduate as well as my Master’s in Social Work. I have been working in the mental health field since 2007 where I began my work as a lab tech assisting in a study of Bipolar Symptoms in Children. I have worked across the lifespan and with many different populations since then. As a mental health counselor, my specialty areas have included Eating Disorders, Addictions, and family work.

I enjoy training in the community, having clinical supervisees who are either working towards their independent license or Master’s Degree, have developed clinical curriculum, and have overseen the clinical and operational day-to-day of a treatment facility, in addition to doing clinical work. I have been trained and engaged in consultation for Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Radical Openness Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT; brief, trauma treatment). I have also been trained and am passionate in the use of Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, and recently Perinatal Mood Disorders (soon to be receiving consultation).
I am deeply committed to using evidence-based interventions that cater to the needs of my clients. I bring warmth to my clinical work, while holding hope and commitment to change for my clients. I love taking the time to get to know my clients well and understand what contributes to the patterns that are keeping them stuck. I view therapy as a meaningful collaborative process in which my curiosity helps me unlock new potential and internal wisdom from my clients, supporting them in finding relief.
Populations that I enjoy working with most include, but are not limited to those with Anxiety Disorders, Eating Disorders, patterns of avoidance, identity exploration, examining of healthy balance in relationships, as well as parenting challenges and adjustments. I feel privileged and grateful to be entrusted with the care of the clients I serve and never take that for granted as I do my best to find strengths-based appraisals of their problems and the solutions they deserve.
