I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory Designation (LPCC-S) in the state of Ohio. I have been working in the counseling profession since 2013. My education includes a Master of Arts in Counselor Education from the Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the Ohio State University.

My goal in counseling is to create a safe space where you are able to speak freely, practice vulnerability and build resilience though personal growth. I am passionate about helping my clients learn to express and identify their emotions to build self-awareness and emotional intelligence. I believe we are all complex beings and that sometimes we need to untangle the past to make sense of the present. Together we can work to find skills and interventions that will move you towards meeting your goals, healing wounds, increasing insight and finding fulfillment.

My areas of focus include anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, relationship issues, grief, trauma, eating disorders, and women’s issues. I work with clients from a person-centered, feminist approach and teach skills from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I am also trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD. Coming to counseling takes so much courage and I am privileged to start this journey with you.
