I am an independently licensed mental health professional and chemical dependency counselor. My education includes a Masters of Social Work from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Art in Psychology from the University of Kentucky. I have been working with individuals, couples and families in the central Ohio area since 2011. I believe each of us is capable of overcoming the patterns in our lives which hold us back and prevent us from living the lives we desire.

As a counselor my role is to provide a comforting space in which we can explore these patterns and provide support to help you achieve the goals you’ve set for yourself. Life can be overwhelming- whether it creeps up on us over time or it feels as though we never got “the manual” like everyone else. Sometimes it is helpful to have an impartial sounding board to help sort out our thoughts and feelings, and other times we need a little extra support to help navigate through a difficult time of life. Regardless of what brings you to therapy- your willingness to do something different is courageous and I look forward to working with you.

I have had a variety of work experiences in both the mental health and chemical dependency field. I have worked with populations ranging from adolescents in a residential setting to impaired professionals in the outpatient and aftercare setting. I have worked closely with many of the licensing boards of Ohio (Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, Dental) as well as the FAA and HIMS program. Some of the approaches to therapy include Schema Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Strength-Based Interventions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness Based Interventions.>
