I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory Designation (LPCC-S) in the state of Ohio, with a decade of experience in the counseling profession and over 14 years in the mental health field. Clients often describe me as relaxed, calm, and welcoming, which helps create a safe and comfortable environment for exploration and growth. As a progressive and open-minded professional, I value individuality and respect each person’s choices, interests, beliefs, and values.

My approach to counseling is rooted in support, advocacy, and collaboration, meeting you where you are and working together to move forward. Through our work, we can explore techniques, interventions, and a counseling style tailored to your unique needs, helping you build a life filled with value and meaning.

I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wittenberg University. My career has included work with diverse populations and settings, providing therapy for adolescents and adults, families, and individuals experiencing crises. I’ve gained valuable experience in emergency room crisis assessments, state psychiatric hospitals, eating disorder treatment programs, and online therapy platforms.

I use a variety of evidence-based approaches to meet the unique goals of each client. These include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with a focus on treating OCD, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and eating disorders, Mindfulness-Based Interventions, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strength-Based Interventions.

My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, eating disorders, health anxiety, perfectionism, Type A personalities, OCD, life transitions, stress management, relationship issues (excluding couples counseling), hoarding, codependency, and boundary-setting.

With my diverse experience and commitment to individualized care, I aim to support clients in navigating challenges, finding balance, and achieving meaningful change. Together, we can create a path forward that honors your values and goals.
