I am a compassionate Licensed Independent Social Worker-Supervisor (LISW-S) specializing in providing exceptional behavioral health services. I bring over 12 years of experience and expertise to my practice, working in different community mental health settings such as outpatient counseling, tele-therapy, and intensive home-based counseling with children and their parents and families as well as individuals 18+. I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from The Ohio State University (2012) and Licensed Independent Social Worker-Supervisor (LISW-S) certification (2014).

One of the greatest joys I experience as a therapist is getting to see clients learn their strengths and build confidence in their skills to manage their symptoms. I aim for the therapeutic process to be individualized by employing a client-centered, empowering, goal-orientated, and strengths-based practice. It is a privilege to walk with clients on their journeys, so I focus on collaborating with individuals and families to take active roles in their treatment.

Additionally, I practice a holistic, unified, and evidence-based approach to therapy. I utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) techniques. I am informed in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills and I am always seeking ongoing education for provide the most informed care for my clients. By combining these methods, compassion, dedication, and humor, I aim to help individuals and families develop coping strategies, challenge negative thought patterns, and foster personal growth.

I am deeply committed to providing an inclusive practice, valuing the unique experiences and backgrounds of each client; I strive to create a safe space where individuals from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, as well as the LGBTQIA+ community, can, without judgment, freely express themselves, feel heard, respected, and supported. My dedication to inclusivity ensures that clients feel valued and supported on their path to emotional well-being.
