I am an Independently Licensed Social Worker in Ohio with Supervisory Designation (LISW-S), and I have been dedicated to supporting individuals and families on their mental health journeys since 2006. With nearly two decades of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations in various roles and settings, helping clients from all walks of life discover healing, resilience, and personal growth.
Born in Colombia to Chinese parents, I bring a unique multicultural perspective to my practice and am fluent in Spanish, Cantonese, and English. This rich cultural background allows me to connect meaningfully with clients from different cultural and linguistic experiences, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for all.
My Approach to Therapy
Life can present challenges, but I firmly believe in the resilience and strength within every individual to overcome adversity with the right care and support. My role as a therapist is to walk alongside you, empowering you to reach your goals, uncover your potential, and create a life filled with meaning and purpose.
In my practice, I use evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness practices. My focus is to create a collaborative and compassionate environment where you feel truly heard and understood.
Who I Work With
Throughout my career, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families, including those facing complex and high-need challenges. My professional journey has taken me through roles as a Case Manager, Outpatient Therapist, Early Childhood & Family Therapist, Intensive Home-Based Therapist, and School-Based Therapist.
