My name is Christan, pronounced “Kristen,” and I am a dedicated, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience in the nursing field. Before stepping into my role as a nurse practitioner, I honed my skills in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings, as well as in a college health center, where I provided compassionate care to diverse populations.

Originally from Ohio, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Eastern Kentucky University and later attained my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from The Ohio State University. My extensive background has equipped me with a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health and the importance of individualized care.

In my practice, I believe that each person has distinct value and potential. It is an honor for me to come alongside my patients, providing encouragement and support as they work to build meaningful lives. With a strong commitment to evidence-based care and a judicious approach to medication management, I collaborate with my patients to determine the best path toward improved mental health and overall well-being.
